There’s less than 2 days to go now though so you’d better start getting ready and in fact as I speak the countdown reads 1 day, 12 hours, 48 minutes and 48 seconds.

You may be wondering what I’m talking about so I’ll explain a little more. On July 24 you can help to document a single day on earth. The experiment is billed as “An historic cinematic event” and it will be produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Kevin MacDonald.

It needs the involvement of people in the YouTube community and the idea is a user-generated feature film shot in a single day. On July 24 you need to take some film capturing a part of your life on that day. All those films will then be edited and the most gripping and interesting footage will then be part of the documentary film.
